2015: highlights of a landmark year

Happy New Year to all Kent Cricket Members and Supporters. The Club celebrates its 145th birthday with the return to Beckenham, an Ashes double header at Canterbury and a revamped Tunbridge Wells Festival in July.
Here are a few dates for your 2015 diaries:
March
Match tickets go on sale on Monday 2 March for all matches including Kent v Australia and England v Australia Women's Ashes Kia Test.
April
Sunday 12 April, 11am–Kent v Loughborough MCCU – the opening home match versus the university that helped Kent develop England Lions Sam Billings and Adam Riley

Saturday 2 May, 12.30pm – 2.30pm–Kent Cricket Open Day at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence– meet the squad and pick up the 2015 poster before the opening home match of the season
Sun 3 May to Wed 6 May, 11am:Kent v Leicestershire, LV= County Championship– the opening LV= home game of the season
Sunday 3 May and Bank Holiday Monday 4 May:Kent Women v Yorkshire/Sussex atThe County Ground Beckenham – seeKent open their title defence against Yorkshire and Sussex in the Royal London Women’s One-Day County Championship.
Friday 15 May, 7pm:Natwest T20 Blast: Kent Spitfires v Sussex Sharks– the opening 20-over fixture of the season at The Spitfire Ground
Sunday 24 May to Wednesday 27 May 2015, 11am:Back to Beckenham: Kent v Surrey, LV= County Championship
Kent return to a new-look County Ground Beckenham for the visit of Surrey before two Natwest T20 Blast fixtures versus Surrey (May 29) and Gloucestershire (June 5)

June
Thursday 25 – Sunday 28 June: Kent v Australia – the first match of the 2015 Ashes tour at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence
This is an all-ticket fixture for all spectators. Members can call Kent Cricket on 01227 456 886 (weekdays 9am to 5pm) or e-mail feedback.kent@ecb.co.uk to book tickets (free for Life, All Rounder and Championship Plus members) and buy up to six guest tickets before the general sale in March.
July
Friday July 17 to Sunday July 26:Tunbridge Wells Festival 2015
Enjoy Kent in all three formats in nine days: Natwest T20 Blast v Glamorgan (July 17), LV= County Championship v Essex (July 19-22) and Royal London One-Day Cup versus Essex.

August
Sunday 2 August to Friday 14 August 2015:Canterbury Week 2015 – enjoy six days of cricket over the first week of August with Sussex in the Royal London 50-over game, a LV= match with Northants (Tue to Fri August 4-7) and a 50-over clash against Lancashire on Saturday 8 August.
Canterbury Week has been extended this year to include the 2015 Women's Ashes Kia Test Match (August 11-14).
