Adam Riley helps Bexley to opening win in Shepherd Neame League

Kent spinner Adam Riley starred for Bexley won at Tunbridge Wells in the opening round Shepherd Neame Kent Cricket League fixtures on Saturday.

The 24-year-old England Lions bowler took 2/15 off seven overs after Bexley won the toss and batted first at the Nevill Ground.

Bexley were bowled out for 188 with Queensland U23 batsman Aryan Jain top-scoring with 45 off 56 balls.

Riley scored a patient 18 with the bat before spin accounted for the Tunbridge Wells top order.

Kent second XI player Jasdev Bassan took 3-23 from 8.2 overs as Bexley dismissed the hosts for 131 to seal a 57-run win.
