Alex Blake smashes century in Victoria

Batsman Alex Blake hit a century as he continued his fine form for North Dandenong in Victoria.

The 26-year-old struck 108 to clinch a win against Dandenong West after hitting a 50 and 39 in his first two innings.

In reply to West’s 143, Blake came in at 52-4 and saw his first partner depart with the score on 58.

He accelerated by putting on 68 for the sixth wicket with Clayton McCartney and added another 98 with Caleb Millman for the seventh wicket before departing.

Kent’s Spitfire Fielder of the Year earlier claimed an athletic run out at the Greaves Reserve.
