Friday 22nd January 2016
Kent wicketkeeper Sam Billings played his part as England Lions defeated Pakistan A in the second unofficial ODI at the ICC Academy in Dubai.
Batting at number four in the order, the 24-year-old Kent Cricket Academy graduate hit 31 from 34 balls as England compiled a formidable total of 314-5 from their 50 overs after being put in.
Pakistan were dismissed for 245 in reply: Billings took a Mohammad Nawaz top-edge off Surrey's Tom Curran and he ran out Fawad Ahmed on the way to a 69-run win.
England Lions now lead the five-match series 2-0 and can wrap up a series win with victory in third ODI on Monday.
The remaining two games are on Thursday 28 January and Saturday 30 January.
