Binny’s Fireworks Night at The Spitfire Ground

Can I get tickets?

Tickets are available online at www.kentcricketshop.co.uk while stocks last at the advance prices – a limited number will be available on the gate on the night.

How do I get there?

Stagecoach are kindly offering a free return bus shuttle service from the New Dover Road Park and Ride (CT1 3EJ) to The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence for the event. Pilgrims Hospice will be doing a bucket collection at the Park & Ride, so please give generously.

There will be two pedestrian entrances open for the public at the event:

– Straight up the main driveway off Old Dover Road, next to Sainsburys Local.

– Nackington Road Gate will also be open.

Please have your tickets ready to be scanned.

There will be no parking at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence for attendees of the Fireworks event.

IF YOU ARE BEING DROPPED OFF PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SAINSBURY’S LOCAL CAR PARK

Entertainment

The evening will be hosted by kmfm presenter Laura Nevitt and features music from Kevin Iverson and Old Town Souls along with dancing from the Spitfire Sweethearts and competitions.

There will also be some funfair style stalls next to the five-a-side football pitch.

Fireworks

The show will start at approximately 7.15pm between floodlight 2 & floodlight 3.

The best viewing areas include:

– Green seating between the Les Ames Stand & Colin Cowdrey Stand

– On the banks either side of floodlight 4

– Cornwallis Room (1st floor of the Colin Cowdrey Stand)

– HR GO Recruitment Harris Room (2nd floor of the Colin Cowdrey Stand)

– Frank Woolley Stand – upper and lower tiers

Please note: there may be restricted viewing from the Les Ames ground floor terrace.

A cash machine can be accessed from just outside the official grounds, within the Sainsbury’s Local on Old Dover Road.

Please bring sufficient cash to avoid queueing

Food and Drink

Lime Tree Café: Hot drinks, alcoholic and soft drinks, cakes and pastries, traditional hotdogs with onions, carrot and coriander soup, savoury pastries, sandwiches, pork and onion sausage rolls, confectionery and Kent crisps

Cornwallis Room, first floor of Cowdrey Stand: bar, confectionary and Kent crisps, soup, chicken and vegetable curry

Les Ames: Bar, Confectionery and Kent crisps

Concessions (located next to the 5-a-side football pitch): Burgers / Thai / coffee / crepes / pasties

Should you happen to leave something at the event, please call the Main Club Office on 01227 456 886 opt 0 from the following working day to enquire as to whether anything has been handed in.
