Callum Jackson hits 156* for Dartford in Shepherd Neame Premier League

Kent 'keeper Callum Jackson carried his bat for Dartford, smashing 156 in a high-scoring defeat at Lordswood in the Shepherd Neame Premier League.

The visitors were invited to bat first at Martin Grove and only lost four wickets, amassing 303 for four with Charlie Hartley muscling three fours and two sixes in a 16-ball cameo of 30.

In reply, Kent colleague Sean Dickson scored 22 in his first club appearance of the season before Lordswood skipper Linden Lockhart hit an unbeaten century of his own to reach the victory target with 13 balls to spare. Hartley claimed 2/61 in ten overs.

Adam Ball smashed a fine 88 not out to inspire Tenterden to victory at Beckenham.

Imran Qayyum took 2/49 and scored 22 as he led Bromley to a last-over win at Tunbridge Wells.

Former Kent man Yasir Arafat’s spell of 2/23 in ten overs helped restrict the scoring as Bromley took regular wickets as Tunbridge Wells were dismissed 18 runs short of Bromley’s total of 230-8.

Adam Riley took 1/40 in ten overs as Bexley lost at Sevenoaks Vine.

Leaders Hartley Country Club extended their advantage at the top with a comfortable seven-wicket win at second-placed Blackheath.

They dismissed the hosts for 194 before chasing the target with 13.3 overs to spare.
