Charlotte Edwards joins Chance to Shine board

Kent and England Women's Cricket Team captain Charlotte Edwards has joined the Chance to Shine board of trustees.

Since 2008, Charlotte Edwards has played a key role in inspiring more than one million girls to play the game as one of Chance to Shine’s England Women coaching ambassadors.

Describing her additional role at the charity, Charlotte said, “Working for Chance to Shine and helping to inspire the next generation of cricketers is incredibly rewarding. I feel lucky to be involved in such a success story and I’m delighted to be joining the charity’s Board of Trustees.”

Donald Brydon CBE has been elected Chairman of the Cricket Foundation’s Board of Trustees with immediate effect. It follows the decision by current Chair Adrian Beecroft to step down after six years.

Garri Jones and Caspar Rock also join the current Cricket Foundation Trustees: Judy Coles, Simon Dyson, Tim O’Gorman, Russell Perry, Oliver Stocken and Dave Taylor.
