Kent's cricketers based in Queensland were not in action this weekend as the coast was battered by two cyclones and heavy rain. Grade cricket and the World Cup match at Brisbane were called off.

With three weeks left of the winter season, we round up how Kent players has performed in Queensland First Grade cricket…

Adam Ball has taken 18 wickets in ten matches for Redlands Tigers at an average of 32 with a best return of 7/37, achieved last week against Western Suburbs.

The 21-year-old, who signed a contract extension last year, averages 15.4 in eleven innings with the bat with a top score of 36.

Batsman Daniel Bell-Drummond has excelled in his short spell at Northern Suburbs with 297 runs in five innings at an average of 74.25.

His top score of 157 not out against South Brisbane included 16 fours and four sixes.

Also at Suburbs, former West Indies star Brendan Nash has scored 195 in six innings at an average of 48.75

Kent vice-captain Sam Northeast has also enjoyed a prolific winter with the bat, hitting 505 runs in 11 innings at an average of 63.13.

The 25-year-old's best score of 144 came against Adam Ball's Redlands Tigers.

Seam prospect Ivan Thomas has excelled with the ball so far, taking 19 wickets at 19.85 with a best of 5/32in eight matches.
