Denly, Griffiths and Haggett prepare for 2015 season in South Africa

Kent’s Joe Denly, David Griffiths and Calum Haggett are spending three months in South Africa as they prepare for a busy summer of cricket.

Denly has joined former Middlesex teammate Neil Dexter at Berea Rovers Cricket Club in Durban after a month-long spell in Bangladesh at the end of 2014.

The 28-year-old re-joined Kent at the end of last season, is using the South Africa stint for some batting practice ahead of the new campaign.

Rovers play in the Kwazulu Natal Castle Premier League.

Fast bowler Griffiths, 29, is also in Durban, is getting some vital overs in for Dolphins whereas Haggett is playing for Old Edwardian Society CC in Johannesburg.

All-rounder Haggett joins Jimmy Cook at Old Eds, a former coach from his Somerset days.
