FAQ: Simply Red at The Spitfire Ground, Saturday 18 June

Simply Red play live at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence on Saturday 18 June and you could be there.

One of the most popular British bands of all time will play their best-selling hits from the back catalogue at the home of Kent Cricket.

Q. What time does the show start/finish?

A. Gates open at 4pm with Emma Stevens playing at 6.30pm, Ben Montague due on stage at 7.15pm before Simply Red who are scheduled to at 8.30pm with a 10.30pm curfew.

Q. Can I park at the ground?

A. No but you can park nearby at the Simon Langton Girls' Grammar School on Old Dover Road (CT1 3EW) for £10 per vehicle. Alternatively, use the Park and Ride at New Dover Road (CT1 3EJ) for £3 per car or £1 after 4pm. The shuttle bus is a short ride from the ground and alights outside the main entrance to The Spitfire Ground with services running after the concert.

Kent Cricket parking passes are not valid for the concert.

Q. Can I bring food/drink/chairs into the ground?

A. No.

Q. Are there seats?

Yes, there are thousands of seats around the ground including covered seats in the Frank Woolley Stand but it is a standing concert and the best views are from the areas in front of the stage. However, there's a big screen next to the stage so you can watch from afar.

Q. Is food and drink available?
