James Tredwell takes another three wickets for MCC v Yorkshire

Kent off-spinner James Tredwell was the pick of the MCC attack with another three wickets against county champions Yorshire in Abu Dhabi.

After claiming 3-53 in the first innings, Tredwell bowled with control to restrict the run rate, dismissing opener Adam Lyth before returning to remove Jack Leaning and Tim Bresnan for a second time in the match.

The experienced bowler has had a good workout in the Middle East: delivering 34 overs on day three after 25 overs on the first day at an economy rate a shade more than two runs per over.

Yorkshire lost Lyth before they had overturned MCC's 24-run first-innings lead as Tredwell trapped him LBW before partner Alex Lees took command with a fine 86.

The county champions were in trouble when Lees and Bresnan departed with the score on 147 before Will Rhodes (41 not out) and Andy Hodd (44) added 80 for the seventh wicket to extend their advantage to 215 with three wickets remaining at stumps on day three.
