Kent Under 13s lift Taunton Festival title

Sunday 2nd August 2015

Kent won all five games at the Taunton Festival last week, being only one of a few sides to ever take 50 wickets and bowl every side out during the competition.

The most comprehensive victory came on the final day in a crunch match between Kent and Yorkshire to determine the victor of the whole festival.

Kent's boys duly delivered – bowling Yorkshire out for 118 and chasing down without loss of any wicket to win by 10 wickets.

It was another excellent result for coach Ray Willis, having coached current Kent players such as Adam Ball, Sam Billings, Fabian Cowdrey and Daniel Bell-Drummond during his fine service of Kentish cricket.

Several players in the squad will be dreaming of following in their footsteps of the stars of today.
