Kent welcomes One Ashford as official medical partner

One Ashford Hospital is the official supplier of medical services to Kent Cricket after a new partnership was agreed.

The club will have access to leading consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the very latest technology at the new purpose-built hospital.

Kent captain Sam Northeast, who was born in Ashford, visited One Healthcare's flagship facility which features 20 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, MRI, imaging and endoscopy suites.

One Ashford chief executive Adrian Stevenson said: “I am delighted that One Ashford Hospital and Kent County Cricket Club have agreed terms around both sponsorship and the delivery of clinical services to the club partnership moving forward.

“We are delighted that we have been selected as the preferred supplier of medical services to the club, and will have the opportunity to support many of Kent’s elite players.

“We look forward to an exciting future together and wish Kent Cricket well for the coming season in 2017.”

Kent Cricket head of science and medicine Nimmo Reid said: “We look forward to working with One Ashford in supporting our elite players with the best possible medical support to keep the squads fit and well.

“It will give us top-class facilities and expertise at hand to ensure we can diagnose and manage injuries."
