Matt Hunn takes five-wicket haul for Newcastle City

Kent paceman Matt Hunn took a five-wicket haul in his final two-day outing for Newcastle City in New South Wales.

The 20-year-old bowler took five for 41 in 12.3 overs in an excellent spell, backed up by City skipper and Kent colleague Mitch Claydon.

The Spitfire player's player of the year took a wicket for 21 runs in eleven overs as they bowled out Wallsend for 124.

This winter, Claydon has played mainly as a batsman, scoring 507 runs in 17 matches, averaging 26.68 and a top score of 70 among five half-centuries.

With the ball, the Australian took ten wickets at 31.2 and a strike rate of 69.2.

Hunn has impressed with 20 wickets in eight matches at an average of 12.3 and a strike rate of 21.75.

With the bat, Hunn achieved a top score of 45 not out and averaged 18.6.
