Following a two-week voting period, cricket fans then selected their favourite to create the ten-track playlist.

With a majority of fixtures in the new NatWest T20 Blast season taking place on Friday nights, the ECB was searching for a playlist that best represents the summer for fans and reflects the atmosphere that will be experienced during the 133 fixtures in an action-packed season.

David Collier, ECB Chief Executive, said: “Our search for the Natwest T20 Blast Summer Anthems Playlist has given us 10 songs that really encapsulate the spirit of summer for cricket fans. With 70% of fixtures in the new season taking place on a Friday night it’s fitting that these anthems will represent not only the summertime but also the exciting brand of cricket that T20 offers.

“NatWest T20 Blast will have something for everyone and the new season is set to offer cricket fans, groups of friends and families alike a unique experience, ensuring everyone can watch an exciting style of cricket with an electric atmosphere.”
