New website launched

Wednesday 18th February 2009

Kent County Cricket Club is pleased to introduce its latest signing; a new, and vastly improved, website. The new site – launched in partnership with Ashford based web designers, Rogue Interactive – went live earlier today. It is being launched to help bring members and supporters even closer to the action and will offer all the exclusives from within the heart of the club. All the latest news will appear first on the new site – www.kentccc.com – along with transfer rumours, online ticket sales, player profiles, player interviews and blogs too. There will also be the opportunity for fans to have their say in the new and improved forum.

If it affects Kent County Cricket Club, expect to read it first on the new site as it happens.

Jamie Reid and Mark Pennell (pictured above), two experienced journalists – both based in Kent – will be your main reporters while Charles Randall – of the Daily Telegraph – has gone to New Zealand to follow the fortunes of Kent trio Rob Key, Amjad Khan and Joe Denly on the England Lions tour.

Kent“s Director of Operations Jon Fordham, who was instrumental in the launch of the new website, said: “We are naturally delighted with the new site. We have launched it with the aim of giving our supporters even more. There will be a greater opportunity to read the news as it happens and the new site is much more pleasing on the eye. I am confident that it will prove really popular.”

Kent captain Rob Key added: “I am delighted that the new website is ready for the 2009 season. We performed well last season and came close to winning four trophies. Hopefully this year we will go one better and supporters will be able to follow our fortunes on this new and improved site.”

The new site is already earning rave reviews. Help spread the word and be one of the first to find out just how good it is. Go to www.kentccc.com now!
