Spitfires squad for final Royal London One-Day Cup group game v Sussex

Kent Spitfires travel to Hove to take on neighbours Sussex, needing a win to guarantee a place in the Royal London One-Day Cup quarter-finals for a third successive season.

The squad remains unchanged after back-to-back 50-over wins against Hampshire and Gloucestershire and the side goes into the day-night fixture in fourth position in the South Group, either side of Hampshire and Middlesex who both have eight points.

Kent seamer Charlie Hartley retains his place after winning the Iconic by Fitzgerald Man of the Match after taking two key wickets on his One-Day Cup debut on Sunday.

The 22-year-old said: "Colesy sets the tone very well at the top of the innings and Stevo and Tredders bowl so well in the middle overs, it allows myself and Giddo to come on and bowl nice and straight and wait for the batsmen to make a mistake.

"The batsmen are in such good form that it takes all the pressure off the bowlers and allows us to concentrate on executing our skills."
