Tammy Beaumont added to England ODI tour

Kent vice-captain Tammy Beaumont has been added to the England women's ODI squad after Surrey's Natalie Sciver was ruled out of the three-match series in South Africa next month due to an ankle injury.

Beaumont, who won the Christ Church Sport Kent Player of the Year, was originally only selected for the T20I series, but will now be involved for the duration of the tour.

Sciver will remain in England when the squad departs on Monday (25January) to undergo a rehabilitation programme. Her progress will be monitored and a decision will be made at a later date as to whether she is available to re-join the squad for the three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series, which gets underway in Paarl on 18February.
