Tammy Beaumont hits another 50 as England sweep Pakistan
Thursday 7th July 2016
Kent opener Tammy Beaumont continued her wonderful summer for England with her fifth score of 50 or more in six limited-overs internationals as England won the NatWest T20 series against Pakistan 3-0.
The Dover-born Kent Cricket Academy graduate followed two centuries and 70 in the three-match Royal London One-Day series with a second half-century in three IT20 matches as England beat the tourists by 57 runs in the finale at Chelmsford.
Beaumont has amassed 484 runs in five completed innings at an average of 96.8 runs at the top of the order after impressing for Kent in that role in white-ball cricket.
The 25-year-old struck four fours and a six as England posted 170 for five after another century opening stand with new partner Lauren Winfield.
