Tenterden win Shepway Indoor League Cup title

Kent Cricket League Premier Division newcomers Tenterden warmed up for the new season by lifting theShepway Indoor League Cup title.

They breezed through the semi-final and final without losing a wicket, defeating Tilmanstone Ravens A in the final.

Selsted won the League trophy earlier this year.

Plate Semi-final: Ashford Town B 110-3 (D Cooper 32, I Davies 31) lost to Elham Valley 112-1 (K Risby 29, O Boughton 26) by 5 wickets.

Cup Semi-Finals: Tilmanstone Ravens A 154-6 (D Dawkins 67, D Betts 33, J Lister 32) beat Tilmanstone Ravens B 75-6 (D Dawkins 2-13) by 79 runs.

Selsted 100-6 (D Matcham 41, R Knight 3-31) lost to Tenterden 101-0 (A Crawford 25, C Vernon 25, T Knight 25) by 6 wickets.

Plate Final: Mersham-le-Hatch 175-2 (D Khan 30, Jo Godden 28, T McKellow 28, Je Godden 27, D Shersby 25) beat Elham Valley 105-5 (O Boughton 35, R Benn 2-42) by 70 runs.

Cup Final: Tilmanstone Ravens A 103-5 (D Dawkins 36, D Betts 32, T Richards 2-29) lost to Tenterden 106-0 (T Knight 30, C Vernon 30, B Price 27) by 6 wickets.
