Thomas International Sport join the Kent Cricket Team

Thomas International Sport, the newest venture from Thomas International, is the latest company to partner Kent County Cricket Club.

Thomas International Sport provides assessments that empower athletes, coaches and managers to achieve excellence through understanding of behavioural and emotional traits – and deliver an immediate impact on their organisation, teams and individuals. Thomas International Sport have been working with Kent Cricket High Performance Director, Simon Willis, for a number of months, using their behaviour assessments to enhance the work Willis does in preparing both the current and future potential County Players. ‘I have found the training I have been through and the application of the Thomas assessments tremendous,’ stated Willis. ‘They not only give us an improved understanding of an individual player but also an insight into how they fit into a group or team scenario and the strategies we need to employ to help their performance to flourish.’

The new partnership will extend across all facets of Kent Cricket with CEO Jamie Clifford noting that, ‘the partnership with Thomas International Sport could be a pivotal moment for the Club both on and off the playing field. We believe Simon and his team will be better able to work with the professional players but it will also be of great support to us as a small to medium sized employer. We need to employ the right people, train and support them so that all at Kent Cricket are moving forward together.’

The initial partnership is for an 18 month period and involves Kent Cricket accessing the full suite of Thomas International Sport Training & Assessment Products. Thomas International Sport joins the Club as an official Commercial Partner becoming part of the growing network of leading Kent business they work with.
