Tom Maynard Trust collections at Surrey match at Beckenham

Kent Cricket will be collecting for The Tom Maynard Trust at the upcoming NatWest T20 Blast fixture against Surrey on Friday 29 May at The County Ground, Beckenham in memory of their former batsman.

The charity was set up in the summer of 2012 following Tom’s tragic death and its initial objects were to try to provide low level financial support for young cricketers making their way in the game.

Kent Cricket Academy scholars have benefitted from funding from the Trust and we hope that Members and Supporters can give generously.

Collections will be made at the fixture and Kent Cricket’s official cider Thatchers will be raising funds with a prize raffle. Look out for ticket sales near the Pavilion.

Since the Trust was established in 2012, its day-to-day work is now focused on grants, education and awareness for young sportspeople and establishing an Academy for young cricket pros in Spain.
