Viljoen set for debut in County Championship match at Bristol

New signing Hardus Viljoen is in line for his Kent debut in the Specsavers County Championship match against Gloucestershire.

A 13-man squad has travelled to The Brightside Ground in Bristol and the big South Africa fast bowler is eager to sample county cricket.

The 27-year-old right-armer said: “I can’t express how excited I am to be with the team and get on the park and play some cricket.

“I like to keep things simple, use my aggression and hit the deck hard without complicating things too much.

“It’s been nice to meet the guys and get to know them and I’m looking forward to it.”
