Win a Grand in the Hand and Smeg Fridge Freezer at Kent Spitfires Opening Fixture

Kent Cricket sponsors Spitfire and Samurai are giving NatWest T20 Blast patrons the chance to win £1,000 worth of prizes at this year’s seven home fixtures.

The Grand in the Hand competition offers anyone wearing an official tee shirt, who takes a catch on the full, the prize pool comprising £500 vouchers each from Spitfire and Samurai.

Adding to the prize pool, match sponsor Parker Building Supplies are donating a Smeg fridge freezer worth more than £1,200 at the opening NatWest T20 Blast match against Sussex Sharks on Friday 15 May (7pm start).

This prize will definitely be won on the night as it is not dependent on your catching skills!

All you have to do is visit the Parker Building Supplies stand at the match (terms and conditions apply), fill in the form and answer the question – which Kent batsman scored the most runs in the 2014 NatWest T20 Blast competition. Your name could be announced at the end of the match as the lucky winner.

Parker Building Supplies is the leading independent and award-winning timber and heavyside builders’ merchants based in the South East, supplying both the retail and trade sectors. They have branches in Faversham, Maidstone and Tonbridge in Kent.

Kent Cricket CEO Jamie Clifford said: “We are pleased to add these fun competitions to this year’s NatWest T20 Blast campaign and are grateful for two of our key sponsors, Spitfire and Samurai, for coming up with the prize pool for Grand in the Hand.

“Similarly, Parker Building Supplies are providing a tremendous prize, that someone will win at the Sussex Sharks match. We hope that many people will enter both competitions.”

The official tee shirt costs £7.50 and can be purchased online, or in the Kent Cricket Shop at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury.

The competition is planned to run at all seven NatWest T20 Blast fixtures, starting with the opening match v Sussex Sharks on Friday 15 May at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury.

The two Beckenham matches (May 29 and June 5) and the Tunbridge Wells fixture (July 17) will also be part of the promotion.
