Win a signed Kent Cricket bat in our Canterbury Week, 'Who am I?' competition

RSS
7 August 2012

Here's your chance to win a signed Kent Cricket bat - in our competition to celebrate the 161st Canterbury Week, 8th to 12th August.

Throughout season we have been running the 'Who am I?' competition in our Extra Cover newsletter to coincide with each of Kent's home LV= County Championship matches. As Kent take on Essex, this time, rather than a gift voucher for the Kent Cricket Shop, we are offering you the chance to win a bat signed by the entire 2012 squad.

To get your hands on this great prize, simply read the clues below and tell us which Kent cricketer they relate to. Send your answer to feedback.kent@ecb.co.uk along with your name and address before Wednesday 15th August 2012. A winner will be drawn at random from all correct entries. Good luck!

Who am I?

I scored centuries against Gloucestershire and Worcestershire whilst playing for Oxford University

My active sporting life included association football and angling

When batting for Kent I was not always popular with the more elderly batsmen

I was awarded the OBE for services to angling

In 1948 I was part of the Great Britain Olympic team
