Player Biography

Since making his debut in 2011, the Loughborough University graduate has provided good competition for James Tredwell.

14 wickets in Championship cricket came at an impressive average of 25.79 and he claimed career best figures of 7-150 against Hampshire and made regular appearances in the Spitfires white-ball sides.

He broke through as first-choice spinner in four-day cricket in 2014: taking 48 wickets in 15 County Championship appearances.

His consistent displays were rewarded with a call-up to the England Performance Programme in September 2014 for a batting and spin camp in Sri Lanka alongside Kent colleague Sam Billings.

He has been supported by the Brian Johnston Memorial Trust through the BJMT Elite Spin Bowling Programme.
